Wild times last night with Travis Scott at the Metro Theatre. Such a crazy show, he ended up jumping into the crowd and doing a bunch of songs in the middle of the crowd, standing up on the sound desk, then crowd surfed back to the stage to finish the show. So hype! Another dope show by Niche Productions and Live Nation.Read More

Spent a few weeks in Singapore and Malaysia knocking out a bunch of shoots on minimal sleep and carrying around 100kg of gear. Was flat out shooting most of the time but caught a few little happy snaps along the way.Read More
Ultra Singapore 2016 with the homie DJ Snake. Crazy times with the photographer pit covered in sooooooo much mud from heavy rain, hustling our way into the Marina Bay Sands Infinity pool just as it closed and Afrojack celebrating his bday in some tiny backstage room at a club on Orchard road, jammed with people and spraying champagne on everyone at 3am.Read More
It was a program that placed Aboriginal children in the roles of designers and choreographers and over 4 days they created a performance. Such a fun week, watching the kids interact and their personalities shine through, and seeing how proud and happy they were after their final performance.
I did a quick little portrait session with the bro Briggs not long ago in Sydney. Briggs is an indigenous rapper, record label owner, comedy writer and actor, from Shepparton in Rural Victoria, and is signed to the Hilltop Hoods label, Golden Era.
So lately there's been a few incidents in Australia with black face and a few other race related things, and the topic of racism has been very much in the public eye. Briggs has unintentionally become an activist type/spokesperson against black face and racism, by calling out the people involved publicly, via social media, and creating a discussion about racism in Australia.Read More
These photos are old but I never got around to posting them. I got bored one night so decided to drive a few hours out of Sydney to check out the stars. A mistake I made last time I tried to shoot stars, was checking the weather for Sydney and seeing it was totally clear and fine, then assuming that because the weather was perfect, where I was going would be fine as well. I was very wrong. So this time I made sure I researched the conditions to make sure they were fine, before I left. I spent a few hours in near pitch black taking photos of stars and it was kinda scary at first, out in the middle of nowhere by myself in the dark, but it ended up being worth it.Read More
Hit the road again for a few days to chase some snow and have an adventure. Headed up to Barrington Tops near the Hunter and camped out under the stars amongst the cows and wet grass. Was kinda cold because it's the middle of winter, but the fire helped and a BUNCH of thermal clothing didn't hurt. We stayed at the bottom of the mountain, so it was a 3 hour one way trip up gravel road with ice and mud to make it to the top of Barrington Tops, which is 1500m above sea level, but we were rewarded with a decent amount of snow, even though it hadn't snow in a few days and the sun was out. Fun times like always, it was cool to chop up and collect our own fire wood, and have cows roaming freely around our campsite. We had a few fun encounters with cows not moving from the road, even when my car bumper was touching them, which was funny. A not so fun time was when we hiked 2 hours through a dense rainforest to get to a waterfall, and the waterfall ended up being not so great. You win some and you lose some :-)Read More
Woke up early after 4 hours sleep and made the trek out to Wyndham College, Quakers Hill, after being invited to speak to 4, Year 12 Photography Classes, about to start their HSC soon. I was invited by teacher/body building photography wiz/all round nice guy, Daniel Repeti (@danielrepeti_photo).
Was abit of a weird feeling to head back to school to actually talk to kids about a career path and life advice, I only started taking photography seriously at around 24 and I pretty much only just barely started to mature mentally, to be able to even begin to give life advice lol. It felt good to show kids that there are other options in life besides waking up early for an alarm to go to a job you hate and not get paid much and be bossed around making money for someone else. You can make your own rules, mess up, make mistakes, take the wrong path but then be able to turn it around if you want to, it's all in your hands.
Headed for a quick getaway out of the city for a few days with my girl. I spent alot of time on the computer to make my new web site, so thought it would be cool to get away from technology and have no phone reception for a few days. Headed up North to Seal Rocks, which ended up being a mix of sunny, cold and rainy, but that added to the mood and we saw a stack of animals like whales, dingoes, turtles, dolphins, birds and eagles. I usually try not to take too many photos on these getaways, but always have a camera and take a few happy snaps along the way.
I never used to be the outdoors camping type, but so much of my life is revolved around technology, work and music, so I try and do the complete opposite and go camping whenever I can. There's something special about breathing fresh air, sleeping on the ground, being around salt water and using fires for heat and to cook, makes you feel connected to the earth. Plus I love fires and burning shit. Gallery below :-)
Greetings and Salutations, friends and family.
Lately I’ve been in some weird kind of photographer/adult/artist transition period and have spent abit of time the last 6 months analysing why I started taking photos, where I’m at with it and what I actually want to gain out of it all.Read More
Spent another crazy week, backstage at Sydney Fashion week last week, for about the fifth year in a row. Shooting with the mastermind Sonny V, for a few companies like MAC Cosmetics, Faby nails and Grazia Magazine. It’s always a crazy week, with 16 hour days and you really test the body, I could barely lift my shoulder by Friday. Here is a quick selection of a few favourite photos from the week.Read More
